The Wonder of Man
انسان کی تخلیق پر تعجب
اعْجَبُوا لِهذَا الاْنْسَانِ يَنْظُرُ بِشَحْمٍ، وَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِلَحْمٍ، وَيَسْمَعُ بِعَظْمٍ، وَيَتَنَفَّسُ مِنْ خُرْمٍ!
انسان پر تعجب کرو کہ وہ چربی (آنکھ) سے دیکھتا ہے، اور گوشت کے لوتھڑے (زبان) سے بولتا ہے، اور ہڈی (کان) سے سنتا ہے، اور ایک سوراخ (ناک) سے سانس لیتا ہے۔
“Be amazed at man: he looks with fat (eyes), speaks with a piece of flesh (tongue), hears with a bone (ears), and breathes through a hole (nose).”
Reflections: In this Hekmat, Imam Ali (as) invites us to reflect on the miraculous design of the human body. He points out the simplicity of the materials (fat, flesh, bone) used by the Creator to perform incredibly complex sensory functions. It is a call to recognize Divine Power through our own existence.
