کامیابی کے ستون
كَمْ مِنْ مُسْتَدْرَجٍ بِالْإِحْسَانِ إِلَيْهِ، وَمَغْرُورٍ بِالسَّتْرِ عَلَيْهِ، وَمَفْتُونٍ بِحُسْنِ الْقَوْلِ فِيهِ!
کتنے ہی لوگ ایسے ہیں جنہیں احسان و نعمت کے ذریعے ڈھیل دی جاتی ہے، اور کتنے ہی ایسے ہیں جو اللہ کی پردہ پوشی کی وجہ سے دھوکے میں ہیں، اور کتنے ہی ایسے ہیں جو اپنی اچھی شہرت کی وجہ سے فتنہ میں مبتلا ہیں۔
“Many people are led to ruin by the bounties given to them; many are deceived by Allah’s veiling of their sins; and many are enticed by the good things said about them.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ identifies the “three traps” of the ego. He warns that when we receive wealth or success, it might be a test ($Istidraj$) rather than a simple reward. Similarly, if our sins remain hidden from the public, we shouldn’t feel safe—it is Allah’s mercy giving us a chance to repent. Lastly, public praise can be dangerous if it makes us believe we are better than we truly are. This wisdom is a call for **Deep Introspection** and constant gratitude.
