The 14th Whispered Prayer of Imam Sajjad (as) from Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

عظیم اور دائمی رحمتوں والے خدا کے نام سے
In the Name of ALLAH, the All-compassionate, the All-merciful

اَللَّهُمَّ يا مَلاَذَ اللائِذِينَ،

میرے معبود اے پناہ دینے والوں کی پناہ
O ALLAH, O Shelter of the ones who seek shelter!

وَيا مَعاذَ الْعآئِذِينَ، وَيا مُنْجِيَ الْهالِكِينَ،

اے پناہ لینے والوں کی پناہ گاہ اے ہلاکت والوں کو نجات دینے والے
O sanctuary of the ones who seek refuge! O savior of the ones who are perishing!

وَيا عاصِمَ الْبآئِسِينَ، وَيا راحِمَ الْمَساكِينِ،

اے بے چاروں کے نگہدار اے بے کسوں پر رحم کرنے والے
O Protector of the ones who are in a miserable condition O Merciful toward the ones who are in need!

وَيا مُجِيبَ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ، وَيا كَنْزَ الْمُفْتَقِرِينَ

اے پریشانوں کی دعا قبول کرنے والے اے محتاجوں کے خزانے
O Responder to the ones who are in distress! O Treasure of the ones who have nothing!

وَيا جابِـرَ الْمُنْكَسِرِينَ، وَيا مَأْوَى الْمُنْقَطِعِينَ،

اے ٹوٹے ہوؤں کے جوڑنے والے اے بے ٹھکانوں کی جائے پناہ
O Mender of the ones who are broken! O refuge of the ones who are separated!

وَيا ناصِرَ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ، وَيا مُجِيرَ الْخآئِفِينَ،

اور اے کمزوروں کی مدد کرنے والے اے خوف زدوں کی پناہ گاہ
O Helper of the ones who are oppressed! O Granter of sanctuary to the fearful!

وَيا مُغِيثَ الْمَكْرُوبِينَ وَيا حِصْنَ اللاَّجِينَ،

اے دکھیاروں کے فریاد رس اے پناہ خواہوں کی محکم جائے پناہ
O Aider of the ones who are in trouble! O Fortress of the refugees!

إنْ لَمْ أَعُذْ بِعِزَّتِكَ فَبِمَنْ أَعُوذُ ؟

اگر میں تیری عزت کی پناہ نہ لوں تو کس کی پناہ لوں
If I do not seek refuge in your absolute might, in whom shall I seek refuge?

وَإنْ لَمْ أَلُذْ بِقُدْرَتِكَ فَبِمَنْ أَلُوذُ ؟

اور اگر تیری قدرت سے التجا نہ کروں تو کس سے التجا کروں
If I do not seek shelter in your all compassing power, in whom shall I seek shelter?

وَقَدْ أَلْجَأَتْنِي الذُّنُـوبُ إلَى التَّشَبُّثِ بِأَذْيالِ عَفْوِكَ،

میرے گناہوں نے مجھے مجبور کردیا ہے کہ میں تیرے دامان عفو کو تھام لوں
My sins have made me seek protection by holding onto the skirts of your pardon,

وَأَحْوَجَتْنِي الْخَطايا إلَى اسْتِفْتاحِ أَبْـوابِ صَفْحِكَ،

اور میری خطاؤں نے مجھے تیری چشم پوشی کے دروازوں کے کھلنے کا طلبگار بنا دیا ہے
My offenses have compelled me to beg the opening of the doors of your forgiveness,

وَدَعَتْنِي الإِسآءَةُ إلَى الإِنـاخَةِ بِفِنآءِ عِزِّكَ،

میری بدعملی نے مجھے تیرے آستان عزت پرڈیرہ ڈال دینے کو کہا ہے
My bad actions have summoned me to dismount in the courtyard of your might,

وَحَمَلَتْنِي الْمَخافَةُ مِنْ نِقْمَتِكَ عَلَى التَّمَسُّكِ بِعُرْوَةِ عَطْفِكَ،

اور تیرے عذاب کے خوف نے مجھے تیری مہربانی کی ڈوری پکڑ لینے پر آمادہ کیا ہے
My fear of receiving your punishment has pushed me to cling to the handhold of your tenderness!

وَما حَقُّ مَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِحَبْلِكَ أَنْ يُخْذَلَ،

اور حق یہ نہیں کہ جو تیری رسی کو پکڑ لے تو اسے رسوا کیا جائے
It is not right for him who holds fast to your rope to be abandoned,

وَلا يَلِيقُ بِمَنِ اسْتَجَـارَ بِعِزِّكَ أَنْ يُسْلَمَ أَوْ يُهْمَلَ.

اور یہ مناسب نہیں کہ جو تیری عزت کی پناہ لے اس کو بے سہارا چھوڑا جائے
nor proper for him who seeks the sanctuary of your might to be forsaken or disregarded.

إلهِي فَلا تُخْلِنا مِنْ حِمايَتِكَ، وَلاَ تُعْرِنَا مِنْ رِعَايَتِكَ،

میرے معبود ہمیں اپنی حمایت کے بغیر چھوڑ نہ دے اور ہمیں اپنی نگاہ سے محروم نہ فرما
My God, do not withdraw your support and do not take away your guarding of me

وَذُدْنا عَنْ مَـوارِدِ الْهَلَكَةِ،

اور ہمیں ہلاکت کی جگہوں سے دور رکھ
protect us from the roads that lead to ruin,

فَإنَّا بِعَيْنِكَ وَفِي كَنَفِكَ،

کیونکہ ہم تیرے زیر نظر اور تیری پناہ میں ہیں
for we are in your eye and under your wing!

وَلَكَ أَسْأَلُـكَ بِأَهْـل خاصَّتِكَ مِنْ مَلائِكَتِكَ ، وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ بَرِيَّتِكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ عَلَيْنا واقِيَةً

میں تیرے مخصوص فرشتوں اور تیری مخلوق میں سے صالح بندوں کا واسطہ دے کر تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ ہم پر ایسی سپر ڈال دے جو ہمیں ہلاکتوں سے بچائے
I ask you by those whom you have chosen, be they your angels or the righteous ones, to assign over us a protector

تُنْجِينا مِنَ الْهَلَكاتِ،

اور آفتوں سے محفوظ رکھے
Through which to save us from destruction,

وَتُجَنِّبُنا مِنَ الآفاتِ،

اور تو ہمیں بڑی بڑی مصیبتوں سے نجات عطا فرما
And to turn us away from calamities,

وَتُكِنُّنا مِنْ دَواهِي الْمُصِيباتِ،

میں چاہتا ہوں کہ تو ہم پر اپنی طرف سے تسکین نازل کر
And to and hide us from the striking of great afflictions,

وَأَنْ تُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنا مِنْ سِكَيْنَتِكَ،

اور ہمارے چہروں کا اپنی محبت کے انوار سے احاطہ فرما
And to send down upon us tranquility,

وَأَنْ تُغَشِّيَ وُجُوهَنا بِأَنْوارِ مَحَبَّتِكَ،

ہمیں اپنے محکم و پائیدار رکن کا سہارا دے
And to wrap our faces in the lights of your love

وَأَنْ تُؤْوِيَنا إلى شَدِيدِ رُكْنِكَ،

اور اپنی عصمت کے سایوں میں لے لے
And to give us a place of safety in your strong support,

وَأَنْ تَحْوِيَنا فِي أَكْنافِ عِصْمَتِكَ

واسطہ ہے تیری رحمت و ملائمت کا
And to gather us under the wings of your preservation!

بِرأْفَتِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے
By your clemency and your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful!

This prayer is the 14th of the Whispered Prayers (Munajat) of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (as) from the Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya. It is a powerful supplication for those who seek refuge and protection in Allah, emphasizing trust in His might and mercy.
