"May Allah have mercy on Khabbab ibn al-Aratt, for he accepted Islam willingly, emigrated (Hijrah) obediently, lived content with bare sufficiency, was pleased with Allah, and lived the life of
"May Allah make your illness a means of shedding your sins. For indeed, there is no reward in sickness itself, but it washes away sins and sheds them as leaves
"The heart of a fool is in his mouth, and the tongue of a wise man is in his heart."
"The tongue of a wise man is behind his heart, and the heart of a fool is behind his tongue."
"Recommended (supererogatory) acts of worship do not bring one near to Allah if they harm the obligatory ones."
