أَشْرَفُ الْغِنَى تَرْكُ الْمُنَى.

Urdu Translation • اردو ترجمہ

بہترین تونگری اور امیری تمناؤں کا ترک کر دینا ہے۔

English Translation • انگریزی ترجمہ

“The best form of wealth is the abandonment of desires.”

Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ redefines “Wealth” (Ghina). Usually, people think wealth is having everything you want. However, true liberation and riches come from reducing your wants. When you abandon endless desires and unnecessary cravings, you are no longer a slave to circumstances or material needs. This inner independence is the most “noble” or “honorable” form of wealth.
