The Projection of Character
باطن اور ظاہری گمان
مَنْ أَصْلَحَ سَرِيرَتَهُ أَصْلَحَ اللهُ عَلَانِيَتَهُ.
جس نے اپنے باطن (پوشیدہ امور) کی اصلاح کر لی، اللہ اس کے ظاہر (آشکارا امور) کو سنوار دیتا ہے۔
“Whoever reforms his secret (inner) self, Allah will reform his public (outer) self.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ teaches that the root of our public reputation and external life lies in our private thoughts and character. We often waste energy trying to manage how people perceive us (the “outer self”), but the Imam reveals that a beautiful exterior is a natural consequence of a purified interior. If we work on our sincerity, honesty, and intentions when no one is watching, Allah ensures our public life reflects that same integrity.
