Aligning the Inner and Outer
باطن اور ظاہر کی اصلاح
مَنْ أَصْلَحَ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ اللهِ، أَصْلَحَ اللهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّاسِ، وَمَنْ أَصْلَحَ أَمْرَ آخِرَتِهِ، أَصْلَحَ اللهُ لَهُ أَمْرَ دُنْيَاهُ.
جو شخص اپنے اور اللہ کے درمیان معاملات کو ٹھیک کر لیتا ہے، اللہ اس کے اور لوگوں کے درمیان معاملات کو ٹھیک کر دیتا ہے، اور جو اپنی آخرت کو سنوارتا ہے، اللہ اس کی دنیا کو سنوار دیتا ہے۔
“Whoever reforms what is between him and Allah, Allah will reform what is between him and the people; and whoever reforms the affair of his hereafter, Allah will reform for him the affair of his world.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ reveals a spiritual law of cause and effect. We often struggle to fix our social reputations or worldly problems through purely external means. However, the Imam teaches that the root of all success is internal. When a person focuses on their sincerity, worship, and accountability before Allah, Divine Providence intervenes to soften people’s hearts toward them and manage their earthly needs.
