The Strength of Gratitude
شکر کی قوت
مَا أَنْعَمَ اللهُ عَلَى عَبْدٍ نِعْمَةً فَشَكَرَهَا بِقَلْبِهِ، إِلَّا اسْتَوْجَبَ الْمَزِيدَ فِيهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُظْهِرَ شُكْرَهُ عَلَى لِسَانِهِ.
خدا جب کسی بندے پر کوئی نعمت نازل کرتا ہے اور وہ دل سے اس کا شکر ادا کرتا ہے، تو زبان سے شکر ادا کرنے سے پہلے ہی وہ اس نعمت میں اضافے کا حقدار بن جاتا ہے۔
“Whenever Allah bestows a blessing upon a servant and they thank Him for it in their heart, they deserve an increase in it even before the gratitude is expressed by the tongue.”

He explains that God looks at the internal state of the soul; if the heart truly recognizes a blessing as a gift from the Divine, the law of “Increase through Gratitude” is activated instantly.
