English Translation • انگریزی ترجمہ

“The greatest wealth is the abandonment of (excessive) desires.”

Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ identifies that **Contentment** ($Qana’at$) is a psychological state, not a material one. He explains that richness isn’t about how much you *have*, but how little you *need*. A person enslaved by endless desires is always in a state of lack, chasing the next thing. By abandoning these unnecessary cravings, a person gains immediate freedom and peace, which is the “greatest wealth” anyone can achieve.
