The Darkness of Sin

📜
Original Arabic •

Urdu Translation •

English Translation •

“I would not worship a Lord whom I have not seen.”

Reflections: This is one of the most famous theological statements of Imam Ali ؑ. When asked if he had seen God, he clarified that “Eyes do not see Him with physical sight, but hearts see Him through the realities of faith.” The “Darkness of Sin” mentioned in the title refers to the veil that prevents the heart from this spiritual vision. True worship stems from **Certainty** ($Yaqeen$), where the presence of the Creator is more real to the soul than the physical world is to the eyes.
