The Abasement of Greed
“There is no wealth like intelligence, no poverty like ignorance, no inheritance like politeness, and no support like consultation.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ redefines the standard of success and failure. While the world counts gold and silver, the Imam counts **Intellect** and **Character**. He suggests that a person with money but no manners is truly poor, as they have lost their “inheritance” of human dignity. Conversely, the “wealthiest” person is the one whose mind is sharp and whose soul is disciplined, for these are assets that no market crash can take away.
