أَهْلُ الدُّنْيَا كَرَكْبٍ يُسَارُ بِهِمْ وَهُمْ نِيَامٌ.
Urdu Translation • اردو ترجمہ
دنیا والے ان سواروں کی مانند ہیں جنہیں (سفر پر) لے جایا جا رہا ہے جبکہ وہ سو رہے ہیں۔
English Translation • انگریزی ترجمہ
“The people of this world are like travelers who are being carried along while they are asleep.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ uses a powerful metaphor for the passage of time. We are often so preoccupied with our daily lives, dreams, and worries that we fail to notice how quickly life is moving toward its end. Like a passenger asleep on a moving train, we reach our destination without realizing the distance we have covered. This wisdom serves as a wake-up call to become conscious of our journey before it concludes.
