رأْيُ الشَّيْخِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ جَلَدِ الْغُلَامِ.

بوڑھے کی رائے مجھے جوان کی ہمت و چستی سے زیادہ پسند ہے۔
English Translation • انگریزی ترجمہ
“The opinion of an old man is dearer to me than the endurance (strength) of a young man.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ emphasizes that experience and wisdom are often more valuable than raw strength or enthusiasm. While youth brings energy, it often lacks the foresight and strategic thinking that comes with age. A single piece of seasoned advice can prevent a disaster that a thousand strong arms could not fix once it begins. It is a call to value our elders and seek counsel from those who have navigated the complexities of life before us.
