Trials and Transgression

📜
Original Arabic •

Urdu Translation •

English Translation •

“Not every person who is put to trial can be blamed.”

Reflections: This concise saying carries a heavy meaning regarding human psychology and social pressure. Imam Ali (as) suggests that sometimes circumstances, overwhelming deception, or the sheer weight of a trial (Fitna) can be so great that the person who falls into it deserves pity or guidance rather than just harsh rebuke. It is a reminder to look at the root causes of mistakes before passing judgment.
