نماز کے لیے خوبصورت ادعیہ قنوت
“The longest Qunut in the world will lead to the shortest standing on the Day of Judgment.” — Imam al-Sadiq (as)
1. For Success in Both Worlds
۱۔ دنیا و آخرت کی بھلائی
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
English Translation
“Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.”
اردو ترجمہ
“اے ہمارے پروردگار! ہمیں دنیا میں بھی نیکی (بھلائی) عطا فرما اور آخرت میں بھی نیکی، اور ہمیں آگ کے عذاب سے بچا لے۔”
2. For Parents & Forgiveness
۲۔ والدین کے لیے دعا
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
English Translation
“Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers on the Day the account is established.”
اردو ترجمہ
“اے ہمارے رب! مجھے، میرے والدین کو اور تمام مومنین کو اس دن معاف کر دینا جس دن حساب قائم ہوگا۔”
3. For Patience & Faith
۳۔ صبر اور ثابت قدمی
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
English Translation
“Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”
اردو ترجمہ
“اے ہمارے پروردگار! ہم پر صبر کے دہانے کھول دے، ہمیں ثابت قدم رکھ اور کافر قوم کے مقابلے میں ہماری مدد فرما۔”
Note: In the Qunut of the Witr prayer, it is highly recommended to seek forgiveness for 40 believers (living or deceased) and to recite “Astaghfirullaha Rabbi wa Atubu Ilayh” 70 times.

Dua for Steadfast Faith
ثابت قدمی کی دعا
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
English Translation
“Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.”
اردو ترجمہ
“اے ہمارے رب! ہمارے دلوں کو ہدایت دینے کے بعد ٹیڑھا نہ ہونے دینا اور ہمیں اپنی طرف سے رحمت عطا فرما، بے شک تو ہی سب کچھ عطا کرنے والا ہے۔”
Dua for Protection
عذاب سے پناہ کی دعا
رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا
English Translation
“Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering.”
اردو ترجمہ
“اے ہمارے پروردگار! ہم سے جہنم کا عذاب دور کر دے، بے شک اس کا عذاب چمٹ جانے والا ہے۔”
Dua for Imam al-Mahdi (atfs)
امامِ زمانہؑ کے لیے دعا
اللَّهُمَّ كُنْ لِوَلِيِّكَ الْحُجَّةِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ آبَائِهِ، فِي هَٰذِهِ السَّاعَةِ وَفِي كُلِّ سَاعَةٍ، وَلِيّاً وَحَافِظاً وَقَائِداً وَنَاصِراً وَدَلِيلاً وَعَيْناً، حَتَّىٰ تُسْكِنَهُ أَرْضَكَ طَوْعاً وَتُمَتِّعَهُ فِيهَا طَوِيلاً
English Translation
“O Allah, be for Your representative, the Hujjat (Proof), son of al-Hassan, may Your blessings be upon him and his forefathers, in this hour and in every hour, a Guardian, a Protector, a Leader, a Helper, a Guide, and an Eye, until You make him dwell on Your earth and let him enjoy it for a long time.”
اردو ترجمہ
“اے معبود! اپنے ولی حجت ابن الحسنؑ کے لیے، اس گھڑی اور ہر گھڑی میں سرپرست، محافظ، رہنما، مددگار اور نگہبان بن جا، یہاں تک کہ تو انہیں اپنی زمین پر بسائے اور ایک طویل عرصے تک ان سے فائدہ پہنچائے۔”
Ahlul Bayt’s Recommendation: Start and end every Qunut with Salawat (Allahumma Salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa Aali Muhammad), as Allah is too generous to accept the beginning and end of a prayer while rejecting the middle.
