General Rule: You must ignore any doubts that arise after the prayer has ended, after the time for that prayer has passed, or if you are classified as a Kathir al-Shak (a person who doubts excessively).

Sajdah-e-Sahw becomes obligatory in the following cases:
- Talking accidentally during prayer.
- Forgetting one Sajdah or Tashahhud.
- Reciting Salam at the wrong place.
- Doubt between 4th and 5th Rak’at in a 4-unit prayer.
درج ذیل صورتوں میں سجدہ سہو واجب ہو جاتا ہے:
- بھولے سے نماز کے دوران کلام کرنا۔
- ایک سجدہ یا تشہد بھول جانا۔
- بے جا مقام پر غلطی سے سلام پڑھنا۔
- چار رکعتی نماز میں ۴ اور ۵ رکعت کے درمیان شک ہونا۔
Follow these steps immediately after completing the prayer:
- Make the Niyyah (intention) of Sajdah-e-Sahw.
- Go into Sajdah and recite the specific Dhikr.
- Sit up, then perform a second Sajdah with the same Dhikr.
- Sit up and recite Tashahhud and Salam.
نماز مکمل کرنے کے فوراً بعد یہ طریقہ اپنائیں:
- سجدہ سہو کی نیت کریں۔
- سجدے میں جائیں اور مخصوص ذکر پڑھیں۔
- سر اٹھائیں، پھر دوسرا سجدہ بھی اسی ذکر کے ساتھ کریں۔
- تشہد اور سلام پڑھ کر ختم کریں۔
