Arabic
دعاء النور هو دعاء عظيم يطلب فيه العبد من الله تعالى أن يملأ حياته بالنور الإلهي، نور الهداية والعلم والحكمة والتوفيق. وهو من الأدعية المأثورة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.

دعائے نور ایک عظیم دعا ہے جس میں بندہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے اپنی زندگی کو الہی نور سے بھرنے کی درخواست کرتا ہے۔ یہ ہدایت، علم، حکمت اور توفیق کی نور ہے۔ یہ دعا نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے منقول ہے۔

Dua-e-Noor is a great supplication in which the servant asks Allah Almighty to fill his life with divine light – the light of guidance, knowledge, wisdom, and success. It is a supplication transmitted from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Part 1: Light in the Heart and Tongue
Arabic
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا، وَفِي لِسَانِي نُورًا، وَفِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَفِي بَصَرِي نُورًا

اے اللہ! میرے دل میں نور کر دے، اور میری زبان میں نور کر دے، اور میرے کانوں میں نور کر دے، اور میری نظر میں نور کر دے

O Allah, place light in my heart, and on my tongue light, and in my ears light, and in my sight light
Part 2: Light Above, Below, Right, and Left

وَمِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا، وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي نُورًا

وَمِنْ أَمَامِي نُورًا، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي نَفْسِي نُورًا

اَللَّهُمَّ يَا صَـبُوْرُ، تَصَـبَّـرْتَ بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّبْرُ فِيْ صَـبْرِ صَـبْرِكَ يَا صَـبُوْرُ

اے اللہ! اے صبور! تو نے صبر سے اپنے آپ کو صابر بنایا ہے اور صبر تیری صبر کی صبر میں ہے، اے صبور!

O Allah, O Most Patient! Verily You expressed Your Patience through the patience, and the patience is in the patience of Your Forbearance, O Most Patient!

Dua-e-Noor is a powerful supplication that seeks divine light in all aspects of life – physical, mental, and spiritual. The supplication asks Allah to fill the believer’s heart, mind, senses, and entire being with the light of guidance, knowledge, and divine wisdom.
The Dua-e-Noor Kabir (the Greater Dua of Light) is an extended version that celebrates the divine attributes of Allah, acknowledging His perfection in various aspects – His might, majesty, knowledge, holiness, beauty, peace, and patience.
Source: Sahih Al-Bukhari, Muslim, and other authentic hadith collections. This dua is reported to have been recited by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when going to the mosque and during prayer.
