Ziyarat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (as)
Opening Salutations
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا ابَا مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْحَسَنُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ٱلْهَادِيَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِي
alssalamu `alayka ya mawlaya ya aba muhammadin alhasanu bna `aliyyin alhadi almuhtadi
Peace be upon you, O my Master Abu-Muhammad al-Hasan the son of `Ali, the guide and well-guided.
وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you.
Titles and Attributes
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنَ اوْلِيَائِهِ
Peace be upon you, O Allah's intimate servant and son of Allah's intimate servants.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنَ حُجَجِهِ
Peace be upon you, O Allah's decisive Argument and son of Allah's decisive Arguments.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَفِيَّ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنَ اصْفِيَائِهِ
Peace be upon you, O Allah's elite and son of Allah's elite ones.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيفَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنَ خُلَفَائِهِ وَابَا خَلِيفَتِهِ
Peace be upon you, O Allah's representative, son of Allah's representatives, and father of His representative.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ خَاتَمِ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ سَيِّدِ ٱلْوَصِيِّينَ
Peace be upon you, O son of the Seal of the Prophets. Peace be upon you, O son of the chief of the Prophets' successors.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ امِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ
Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful. Peace be upon you, O son of the doyenne of all women of the world.
Spiritual Qualities
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عِصْمَةَ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا إِِمَامَ ٱلْفَائِزِينَ
Peace be upon you, O shelter of the pious ones. Peace be upon you, O leader of the winning party.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رُكْنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا فَرَجَ ٱلْمَلْهُوفِينَ
Peace be upon you, O haven of the (true) believers. Peace be upon you, O relief of the aggrieved ones.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱلْحُجَجِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا هَادِيَ ٱلامَمِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ ٱلنِّعَمِ
Peace be upon you, O prime Argument of all the arguments. Peace be upon you, O guide of all nations. Peace be upon you, O source of all bounties.
Father of the Awaited Imam
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابَا ٱلإِمَامِ ٱلْمُنْتَظَرِ ٱلظَّاهِرَةِ لِلْعَاقِلِ حُجَّتُهُ وَٱلثَّابِتَةِ فِي ٱلْيَقِينِ مَعْرِفَتُهُ
Peace be upon you, O father of the Awaited Imam: whose claim is evident for the rational people, and whose recognition is fixed in the most certain things.
وَٱلْمُعيدِ رَبُّنَا بِهِ ٱلإِسْلاَمَ جَدِيداً بَعْدَ ٱلإِنْطِمَاسِ وَٱلْقُرْآنَ غَضّاً بَعْدَ ٱلإِنْدِرَاسِ
and through whom our Lord shall recover Islam over again after it will be effaced and He shall recover the Qur'an fresh over again after it will be eradicated.
Testimony and Final Salawat
اشْهَدُ يَامَوْلاَيَ انَّكَ اقَمْتَ ٱلصَّلاَةَ وَآتَيْتَ ٱلزَّكَاةَ وَامَرْتَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنْكَرِ وَدَعَوْتَ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَٱلْمَوْعِظَةِ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ وَعَبَدْتَ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصاً حَتَّىٰ اتَاكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ
O master, I bear witness that you performed the prayers, defrayed the poor-rate, enjoined the right, forbade the wrong, called to the way of your Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and worshipped Allah sincerely until death came upon you.

Thursday Visitation
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ وَخَالِصَتَهُ
Peace be upon you, O saint of Allah! Peace be upon you, O argument of Allah and His choicest!
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا إِمَامَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنينَ وَوَارِثَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ وَحُجَّةَ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ
Peace be upon you, O leader of the faithful believers, inheritor of the messengers, and argument of the Lord of the Worlds!
يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ أَنَا مَوْلىً لَكَ وَلِآلِ بَيْتكَ وَهٰذَا يَوْمُكَ وَهُوَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخَمِيسِ وَأَنَا ضَيْفُكَ فِيهِ وَمُسْتَجِيرٌ بِكَ فِيهِ فَأَحْسِنْ ضِيَافَتِي وَإِجَارَتِي بِحَقِّ آلِ بَيْتِكَ ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ
O my master, O Abu-Muhammad, al-Hasan, the son of `Ali! I am a servant of you and of your Household and today is your day, which is Thursday, and on this day, I am your guest and in your vicinity; so, receive me hospitably as your guest and neighbor, in the name of your Household, the pure and immaculate.
