زيارة الإمام محمد الباقر
Ziyarat Imam Muhammad Baqir (as)
نعزی الامة الاسلامیه و شیعة اهل البیت (ع) بذکری استشهاد الامام محمد الباقر (ع).
Part 1: The Salutations
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا البَاقِرُ لِعِلْمِ اللَّهِ
Alssalamu `alayka ayyuha al-baqiru li`ilmi allahi
Peace be upon you; O one who opened the knowledge of Allah!
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا المُبَيِّنُ لِحُكْمِ اللَّهِ
Peace be upon you; O one who demonstrates the laws of Allah!
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النُّورُ السَّاطِعُ
Peace be upon you; O glaring light!
Part 2: The Testimony
أَشْهَدُ يَا مَوْلايَ أَنَّكَ قَدْ صَدَعْتَ الحَقَّ صَدْعاً، وَبَقَرْتَ العِلْمَ بَقْراً
I bear witness, O my master, that you verily expounded the right openly, and split the knowledge with thorough splitting!
وَأَمَرْتَ بِطَاعَةِ اللَّهِ، وَنَهَيْتَ عَنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ
And you enjoined obedience to Allah, and you forbade disobedience to Allah.
Part 3: The Keeper of Knowledge
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَاقِرَ عِلْمِ النَّبِيِّينَ
Peace be upon you, O Discloser of the Knowledge of the Prophets.
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا زَيْنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِينَ
Peace be upon you, O Adornment of the Heavens and the Earths.
فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ أَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ أَنْبِيَائِكَ
So send Your blessings upon him the best of what You have blessed upon any of the progeny of Your prophets.
