دنیا کا دھوکہ
الْغِنَى فِي الْغُرْبَةِ وَطَنٌ، وَالْفَقْرُ فِي الْوَطَنِ غُرْبَةٌ.
پردیس میں مالداری وطن کی حیثیت رکھتی ہے، اور وطن میں ناداری (غریبی) پردیس بن جاتی ہے۔
“Wealth in a foreign land is like being at home, and poverty in one’s own homeland is like being in a foreign land.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ highlights a harsh social reality. He explains that **Belonging** is often tied to resourcefulness. While the soul’s true home is with its Creator, in the material world, poverty isolates a person even among their own kin, while wealth provides comfort even among strangers. This wisdom serves as a reminder to be compassionate to the poor in our own communities, as they feel like strangers in their own homes.
