Wealth of the Mind
“There is no wealth like the intellect, no poverty like ignorance, no inheritance like refinement (manners), and no support like consultation.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ identifies the four cornerstones of a successful life. He elevates the intellect above material gold and labels ignorance as the truest form of bankruptcy. He also reminds us that the best thing a parent can leave a child is not money, but “Adab” (etiquette and character). Finally, he highlights that even the wisest person becomes stronger when they seek the counsel of others.
