English Translation • انگریزی ترجمہ
“Generosity is that which is spontaneous; as for that which is given on being asked, it is either out of shame or to avoid reproach.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ identifies the **Purity of Intent** in giving. He explains that giving after someone asks for help is often a social obligation—done because we are embarrassed to say no or afraid of being judged. True nobility ($Sakha$) lies in being observant enough to notice another’s need before they have to voice it. This preserves the dignity of the receiver and proves the sincerity of the giver.
