أَعْجَزُ النَّاسِ مَنْ عَجَزَ عَنِ اكْتِسَابِ الاِْخْوَانِ، وَأَعْجَزُ مِنْهُ مَنْ ضَيَّعَ مَنْ ظَفِرَ بِهِ مِنْهُمْ.
Urdu Translation • اردو ترجمہ
سب سے زیادہ بے بس وہ شخص ہے جو دوستوں کو حاصل کرنے میں عاجز ہو، اور اس سے بھی زیادہ بے بس وہ ہے جو پا لینے کے بعد انہیں کھو دے۔
English Translation • انگریزی ترجمہ
“The weakest of people is he who is unable to gain friends; and even weaker than him is he who loses those whom he has gained.”
Reflections: Imam Ali (as) defines “weakness” not as physical frailty, but as a lack of social intelligence and emotional character. Friendship is a spiritual asset; failing to build it shows a lack of empathy, but failing to maintain it shows a lack of loyalty and patience.
