The Watch of the Tongue

📜
Original Arabic •

Urdu Translation •

English Translation •

“Speak so that you may be known, for a man is hidden under his tongue.”

Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ highlights that silence acts as a veil for both the wise and the foolish. However, as soon as a person speaks, their level of intellect, character, and spiritual depth becomes evident to the world. This wisdom serves as a dual reminder: first, to be careful with our words, and second, to recognize that **true beauty or ugliness** lies not in appearance, but in the thoughts we express.
