قِيمَةُ كُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا يُحْسِنُهُ.
Urdu Translation • اردو ترجمہ
ہر انسان کی قدر و قیمت وہ ہنر (یا علم) ہے جس میں وہ مہارت رکھتا ہے۔
English Translation • انگریزی ترجمہ
“The value of every man is what he performs with excellence (or the knowledge he has mastered).”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ redefines the concept of social status. In a world that judges people by their lineage, bank balance, or clothing, he provides a meritocratic standard. A person’s true “price tag” is their contribution and their skill. If you want to increase your value in the eyes of God and society, increase your proficiency in what you do. Mastery and excellence are the only true forms of nobility.
