The Treasure of Wisdom
حکمت کی تلاش
الْحِكْمَةُ ضَالَّةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ، فَخُذِ الْحِكْمَةَ وَلَوْ مِنْ أَهْلِ النِّفَاقِ.
حکمت مومن کی گمشدہ چیز ہے، لہٰذا حکمت کو حاصل کرو خواہ وہ منافق سے ہی (کیوں نہ) ملے۔
“Wisdom is the lost property of the believer; so take wisdom even if it be from the people of hypocrisy.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ teaches us that truth and wisdom have no borders. A believer should be like a person searching for a precious lost item; they don’t care who finds it or where it is located, they only care about recovering it. This wisdom encourages us to be open-minded and objective. If a piece of advice is true and beneficial, we should accept it based on its own merit, regardless of the character of the person speaking it.
