عَامِلُوا النَّاسَ بِمَا تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يُعَامِلُوكُمْ بِهِ.
Urdu Translation • اردو ترجمہ
لوگوں کے ساتھ ویسا ہی سلوک کرو جیسا تم چاہتے ہو کہ وہ تمہارے ساتھ کریں۔
English Translation • انگریزی ترجمہ
“Treat people in the same way you would love to be treated by them.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ provides what is often called the “Golden Rule” of ethics. This wisdom removes the need for complex legal theories; it asks the heart to be the judge. Before acting toward another, a person should simply imagine themselves in the other’s position. This teaching promotes **Empathy** as the ultimate social regulator. If you desire respect, give respect; if you desire forgiveness, be forgiving.
