The Definition of Knowledge
“Knowledge is not that which is stored in the chests; rather, knowledge is that which manifests in actions.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ challenges the traditional notion of academic learning. He suggests that if information does not change your behavior, your ethics, or your response to the world, it cannot be called “Knowledge” ($`Ilm$). Real knowledge is a transformative force; it is the wisdom that shapes how you treat others and how you navigate life’s trials. Without action, learning is merely a burden of memory.
