Perseverance in Action
“Walk along with your ailment as long as it allows you to walk.”
Reflections: Imam Ali ؑ offers a profound lesson in resilience. This saying is often interpreted both physically and metaphorically. It suggests that one should not surrender to weakness or despair prematurely. Whether it is a physical illness or a difficult circumstance (an “ailment” of life), we are encouraged to keep moving, stay active, and fulfill our duties for as long as we are capable. Movement and willpower are often the best remedies for the soul’s stagnation.
