Charity: An Effective Medicine

الصَّدَقَةُ دَوَاءٌ مُنْجِحٌ، وَأَعْمَالُ الْعِبَادِ فِي عَاجِلِهِمْ، نُصْبُ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فِي آجَالِهِمْ.
Urdu Translation • اردو ترجمہ
صدقہ ایک کامیاب دوا ہے، اور بندوں کے وہ اعمال جو انہوں نے دنیا میں کیے ہوں گے، کل (آخرت میں) ان کی آنکھوں کے سامنے ہوں گے۔
English Translation • انگریزی ترجمہ
“Charity is an effective medicine; and the deeds of people in this world will be before their eyes in the next world.”
Reflections: Imam Ali (as) teaches that charity (Sadaqah) is not just a financial transaction; it is a spiritual cure that heals the heart and averts calamities. Furthermore, he reminds us of the law of consequences: every action taken today is being recorded to be displayed as our ultimate reality in the hereafter.
